Senior Electronics Engineer

Navigation-Droning Task Leader

Drone System Manager

The Drone System Manager is responsible for the entire drone lifecycle, from initial design and component selection to flight software development and testing within the specified cage. This role ensures the drone can perform its mission autonomously, including take off, probe detection, and precision landing, while adhering to strict safety and communication protocols.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Lead the complete design, manufacturing, and assembly process for the team’s drone. • Oversee the integration of drone subsystems, including flight controllers, sensors, and communication links. • Ensure the drone meets all safety and operational requirements for the Droning Task, including geofencing and fail-safe mechanisms. • Manage the development of autonomous flight and image processing software, potentially using MATLAB/Simulink as required. • Direct flight testing and pre-competition readiness checks.
