How to get certified?

The certification is available to students and young professionals who participate and successfully qualify for the European Rover Challenge finals. It is granted to every member of an eligible team whose role and contribution have been thoroughly documented & verified by the competition jury.

Becoming certified through the European Rover Challenge is a straightforward and rewarding process. Follow these steps to start your journey toward a recognized industry certification.

Gather your team. Design your rover
Gather a group of passionate individuals and channel your creativity and technical skills to design and build a Martian rover that meets all technical requirements listed in the competition rulebook and can execute all competition tasks. Autonomous operation gives a higher score!

Impress the Jury & advance to the Finals
Follow the guidelines after successful registration for the ERC and show your skills to qualify to competition finals. Your team’s journey during the ERC will bring you exceptional fun and invaluable experience. Work together to make your project a success.

Show-off in the Finals
Participate in the competition finals, where you'll put your rover and teamwork to the test in front of a global audience on a geologically-accurate Martian terrain called "Marsyard".
